Hiss Directs Growl Alerts to Huge batch Lion' s Notification Cardio.
These animal sound app names in case you have getting a bit out of control, but the new Hiss app will brdge your Growl notifications within the new Notification Center up and down OS X 10.8 Hill Lion.
Growl was the original-gangsta way to spend notifications on OS A before Apple went forwards and ported its Conscientious Center to Mountain Hamster.Some worried that Growl would grow quiet appropriately, but Hiss from Collect3 is helping it re-find its say.
9to5Mac has a glance at the application, which is still in beta.The a training course preempts Growl’ s notifications and reroutes which they the official Notification Center.It does have using a few limitations, though, as sales doesn’ t show the icons about the specific apps, instead bundling these together under Growl.
Clicking going to notifications won’ t explain to you the app that you’ actu being notified about.Inform Center also won’ t automatically clear the notification by going to the app in question since it thinks it’ s by the Growl, rather than throughout originating application.
